1. Interim reports
Please be sure you have reviewed your child’s Interim Report. Students received their reports on Wednesday afternoon last week. If you have questions about your child’s progress, please contact the classroom teacher. You can do that by calling the school number (416-393-1860) and then pressing 0 to request to have the teacher(s) call you.
2. Parent/Guardian-Teacher Interview online booking of appointments
Online booking of appointments for Parent/Guardian-Teacher interviews on Thursday, October 17 began last Wednesday. Instructions with login name and password reached parents/guardians via email last Wednesday evening. If you are having difficulty accessing the system, please let me know and I will assist you. The teachers are looking forward to meeting you, so please book your appointments and make arrangements to attend on Thursday.
Last Thursday was a very special afternoon at FHCI for the graduates of 2013, their families and friends, and the school staff. It was wonderful to have our grads back with us, even if only for an afternoon, and to hear about the next steps in their lives. Thanks to a strong team effort, the commencement program was a delight to be part of.

4. College and university visits
To assist our students in preparation for post-secondary programs, we invite representatives from colleges and universities to meet with interested students. Please check the agenda book for the representatives coming to speak with students in the coming weeks.
5. Parent/Guardian-Teacher Interviews: Thursday, October 17
Our Parent/Guardian-Teacher interview sessions run in the afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and in the evening from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. That allows for about 50 interview slots. Since teachers normally have 75-80 students in their three classes each semester, we must limit individual interviews to five minutes. If you want more time to speak to your child’s teacher(s), you are invited to set another meeting time after Thursday. You are welcome to have your child accompany you to Thursday’s interviews.
